Demonstrators of Integrated Ship Control

DISC was a research study in the context of Task 26A of DGVII's waterborne transport research programme (4th FP). The purpose of Task 26A was to set the terms of reference for demonstrator projects in the area of Integrated Ship Control (ISC), projects which were to be launched within the context of Task 26B (3rd call for proposals).

The DISC consortium collectively consisted of the partners of four consortia: ATOMOS II, Comfortable (VTMIS), MiTS (Norwegian maritime information systems) and MBB (maritime black box).Related Project :  DISC II - ATOMOS III
